| The Post-Impressionist, Paul Cézanne (1839 – 1906), was one of the artists whose work helped lay the groundwork for 20th-century artists, particularly, the Cubists. His works were not well received in his lifetime; however, he is now considered one of the most popular artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. His Large Bathers (1906) is in the Museum’s collection. |
